Pastor Bobby Gilley assumed the pastorate of the South Gastonia Church of God in August of 1993. When offered the position of pastor of the South Gastonia Church of God, Pastor Gilley accepted without reservations. He knew that it was God's will for him to come and serve as pastor and shepherd. Since then, he has worked hard with our people. We have grown both spiritually and numerically. Pastor Gilley and his lovely wife have two daughters, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. We at South Gastonia are very fortunate to have Pastor Gilley as our leader.
