Congratulations Pastor Gilley

Bishop
Bobby L. Gilley was awarded an Honorary Doctor of
Divinity Degree from the North Carolina College of
Theology in recognition of his Forty Years of Ministerial
Service on Friday, June 10, 2010, in Wilmington, NC.
He received his B.A. degree from Lee University,
an M.A. degree from Wheaton College Graduate School
of Theology, and an M.Ed. degree from Winthrop University.
Bishop Gilley has served as evangelist
in the United States, minister in mission countries,
Associate Pastor, Church Youth & C.E. Director,
Bible College Administrator & Professor (36 years),
author & contributing author to several publications,
church planter of 12 new churches, Christian School
Board Member (32 years), has been elected & served
on Church of God State Boards & Councils (30 years),
and guest speaker at numerous events throughout his
years of ministry.
He is presently completing his 17th year
as Senior Pastor at the prestigious South Gastonia
Church of God, which includes being Superintendent
of Victory Christian Academy and Daycare (K-3 through
Grade 12).
Bishop Gilley and his wife, Betty, have
two daughters, Rev. Kim
Franklin (husband Ric) and Mrs. Pam Rayfield
(husband Bryant), and four grandchildren (Adrian &
Arielle Franklin, Micah & Stevi Rayfield). |
