The South Gastonia
Church of God has ministered to literally thousands of people
on their journey through life. Only by God's grace was South
Gastonia Church of God established, and by His divine care
and anointing has it continued to be an arm of Christ ministering
to mankind.
There are over 25,000 Churches of God in the world, and 6,100
of these are in the United States.
South Gastonia Church of God is in the Top 100 Churches of
God in America with a membership of over 400.
It was 1886, in a crude meeting house on the Tennessee-North
Carolina border, where the Church of God traces its roots.
There, a group of eight sincere Christians had a deep desire
for a closer relationship and life with Christ.

For over 75 years the South Gastonia
Church of God has been proclaming the Good News of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Literally thousands of souls have been saved,
santified, baptized in the Spirit, of this church. Many of
these converts have gone on to become pastors, evangelist,
Bible teachers and missionaries to spread this message of
salvation. The desire of this congregation is to continue
to win the sinner to Christ, edify one aother, and worship
our Savior! Indeed South Gastonia is "a church where
you can touch God, and God can touch you."
